Dear author of a CPAN module that uses Inline::C without giving it as a
dependency (and PDL porters),
Inline has long included Inline::C in its distribution. However, it will
stop doing so in the next couple of days. Inline::C will become available as
a separate distribution, and is already in a dev release cycle on CPAN.
Therefore, it is fairly important that your modules start to specify a
requirement for Inline::C as an explicit dependency. This should then work
whether or not the user is using a pre-split or post-split Inline.
Best regards,
