[Pdl-porters] PDL bugs list for PDL-2.008 release

I've reviewed the current bug tickets on sf.net

https://sourceforge.net/p/pdl/bugs/

and adjusted priorities regarding what seems
reasonable or desirable for PDL-2.008. Higher
priority means more important with 6-9 are bugs
I think could/should be addressed this release.

Priority 5 bugs I'm on the fence about and looking
for feedback.

Priority 1-4 are ones I think won't be able to be
included for PDL-2.008.

Here is the list of bugs and I welcome your
input:

9 363 PP "OtherPars" namespace is not clean
9 359 Improved documentation for vsearch

7 353 imag2d not 'use warnings' safe and no way to disable twiddle
7 330 NiceSlice can get confused by comments to cause compilation
errors
7 238 NiceSlice affects code where it should not

6 354 filter demo list by actually available

5 368 PDL::Slatec::polyfit ignores incorrect length of weight
piddle; passes garbage to slatec polfit
5 367 BAD value parsing breakage
5 350 Modules using PDL::Slatec will get installed even if Slatec
is disabled
5 347 t/#pdl_from_string.t has a failure if BADVAL_NAN=1
5 346 ExtUtils::F77 dependency causing problems for CPAN install
5 343 longlong constructor and display lose digits due to
implicit double precision conversions
5 332 "isn't numeric in null operation" warning could be more helpful
5 268 PLplot still unusable with X
