Ed/PDL Users and Developers:
Probably the best way to come up to speed re
ideas for PDL3 and the current functionality are
to read through the mailing list logs and to take
a look at the PDL::PP documentation which
covers the current code generation to support
threaded/vectorized computations in PDL.
Cheers,
Chris

Hi Chris,
Just a quick thought â sorry if this is stupid, as I know little about PDL
internals (for now!). You mention the auto-generation of code, which will
change towards PDL3. Is there any scope to move towards making the
code-generator pluggable at all, through an API? Then youâd be able to
actually do more of an evolution.
Cheers,
Ed
